The is a USB connected board, that has to have the pregenerated code set-up in the computer. The kit is USB powered and features 6 buttons, a guard channel, and at least 2-LED"s. The EVK1070B can be connected directly to a PC via USB or user application via an I2C compatible bus. The EVK1070B is configured to allow setup of 1 to 7 keys or 1 to 6 keys plus a Guard channel. The AT42QT1070 QT1070 is a digital burst mode charge transfer capacitive sensor driver. The device can sense from one to seven keys, dependent on mode. The QT1070 has the optimized architecture where no external components are required and only 1pin per channel. It includes all signal processing functions necessary to provide stable sensing under a wide variety of changing conditions, and the outputs are fully debounced. The QT1070 modulates its bursts in a spread spectrum fashion in order to heavily suppress the effects of external noise, and to suppress RF emissions.
