The is a SAM4L series 32-bit Flash Microcontroller based on the ARM Cortex M4 processor. The ATSAM4LS4A delivers the lowest power in active mode 90µA/MHz as well as sleep mode 1.5µA and the shortest wake-up time down to 1.5µs in a Cortex-M4 device. Along with 256kB of embedded flash, the device features an USB device, peripheral event system and SleepWalking™ intelligent peripherals. Integrated Atmel QTouch® technology makes it easy to bring capacitive touch functionality to your hardware. It offers a wide range of peripherals such as segment LCD controller, embedded hardware capacitive touch QTouch, USB device and embedded host, 128-bit AES and audio interfaces in addition to high speed serial peripherals such as USART, SPI and I2C. Additionally the peripheral event system and sleepwalking allows the peripherals to communicate directly with each other and make intelligent decisions.
