antenna reference board is a ready to use PCB that includes an M24LR16E-R dual interface EEPROM IC connected to a etched RF antenna on one side, and to an I2C bus on the other side. The M24LR16E-R is organized as 2048 × 8bits in the I2C mode and as 512 × 32 bits in the ISO 15693 and ISO 18000-3 mode 1 RF mode. It can be operated from a VCC power supply and is also a contactless memory powered by the received carrier electromagnetic wave. Both interfaces are widely used industry standards. The design principle of the M24LR16E-R antenna is very simple, the external antenna inductance that needs to be designed on board the PCB should match the M24LR16E-R internal tuning capacitance in order to create a circuit resonating at 13.56MHz. Board allows system designers to evaluate the M24LR16E-R performance and capabilities, and to get started with their design.
To demonstrate the energy harvesting function, the ANT1-M24LR16E can be used in conjunction with DEMO-CR95HF-A demonstration board. Sold separately.
