Product Details
The AD9740 is the 10-bit member of the new third generation family in the _TxDAC_ product line. This new family includes the AD9744 14-bit, AD9742 12-bit, and AD9740 10-bit high-speed _TxDAC_ converters with a maximum sampling rate of 210 MSPS. The family is pin-compatible with the previous two generations AD9764/AD9762/AD9760 and AD9754/AD9752/AD9750 with improved performance and lower power dissipation.
The _TxDAC_ product line is optimized for the transmit signal path of communications systems. All of the devices, including the first two generations, share the same interface options, small outline package and pinout, providing an upward or downward component selection path based on performance, resolution, and cost. The AD974x family has lower power dissipation than previous generations, making all three converters suitable for portable and low power applications.
