Amplifier IC Development Tools Evaluation board for ADL5330
The is a fully populated, 4-layer, FR4 based evaluation board designed to allow easy evaluation of all features of the ADL5330 analog controlled VGA. This board contains bypassable transformers to allow single ended or differential inputs and outputs. An SMA connector is used to access the analog gain control pin. This evaluation board requires only a single supply within the range of 4.5V to 5.5V. The ADL5330 is a high performance, voltage controlled variable gain amplifier/attenuator for use in applications with frequencies up to 3GHz. The balanced structure of the signal path minimizes distortion while it also reduces the risk of spurious feed forward at low gains and high frequencies caused by parasitic coupling. While operation between a balanced source and load is recommended, a single sided input is internally converted to differential form. The input impedance is 50R from INHI to INLO. The outputs are usually coupled into a 50R grounded load via a 1:1 balun.
