The is a complete evaluation/demonstration kit for ADS1281 device. The modular EVM uses the ADS1281 and minimal circuitry to demonstrate functionality for prototyping and part evaluation. The ADS1281 is an extremely high performance, single chip analog to digital converter ADC designed for the demanding needs of energy exploration and seismic monitoring environments. The single chip design promotes board area savings for improvements in high density applications. The MMB0 is a Modular EVM System motherboard. It is designed around the TMS320VC5507, a DSP with an on board USB interface . The MMB0 also has 16MB of SDRAM installed. ADCPro is a program for collecting, recording, and analyzing data from ADC evaluation boards. It is based on a number of plug-in programs, so it can be expanded easily with new test and data collection plug-ins.

These devices have limited built in ESD protection. The leads should be shorted together or device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to MOS gates.
