The is a two quadrant CVCC step down µModule regulator with adjustable output in 81 pin BGA package. This CVCC constant voltage constant current standalone non isolated power module regulator includes switching controller, power switches, inductor and support components. The LTM8052A is capable of sinking and sourcing output current for current regulation primarily. This output current limit can be set by control voltage, single resistor or thermistor. It does not allow operation when output is above the target regulation point. The LTM8052A is equipped with thermal shutdown to protect the device during momentary overload conditions.
