The is a two quadrant CVCC step down µModule regulator with adjustable output in 81 pin BGA package. This CVCC constant voltage constant current standalone non isolated power module regulator includes switching controller, power switches, inductor and support components. The LTM8052 is capable of sinking and sourcing output current for voltage regulation primarily. This output current limit can be set by control voltage, single resistor or thermistor. It has 125% output overvoltage protection. The LTM8052 is equipped with thermal shutdown to protect the device during momentary overload conditions.
