The rugged vitreous enamel coating provides electrical insulation, excellent heat conduction, and is flame resistant. These wirewound resistors are wound on a high quality ceramic core with lug terminals suitable for soldering or sturdy bolt connection. For sturdy mounting, the hollow core permits fastening with spring-type brackets, thru bolts or thru bolts with slotted-steel brackets.
