The is a single resistor low dropout LDO positive linear regulator with adjustable output in 3 pin TO-263 DDPAK package. This rugged regulator can be paralleled for higher output current or heat spreading. It withstands reverse input and reverse output to input voltages without reverse current flow. The LT3088 is a precision 50µA reference current source which allows a single resistor to program the output voltage. The current reference architecture makes load regulation independent of output voltage. The device is stable with or without input and output capacitors. It has an internal reverse battery protection, reverse current protection, current limiting and thermal limiting.
