The is a fixed output low dropout LDO linear voltage regulator in 3 pin TO-252 package. This voltage regulator has dropout voltage of 1.2V at 800mA load current. LM1117DT-3.3 has same pin out as Texas Instrument"s industry standard LM317 and it features current limiting and thermal shut down. It includes zener trimmed bandgap reference to assure output voltage accuracy to within ±1%. A minimum of 10µF tantalum capacitor is required at output to improve transient response and stability.
