Using a current trigger will turn this triac thyristor manufactured from on and applying a forward-biased voltage to it will keep it on. This device has a surge current rating of 12 A. In order to ensure safe delivery and enable quick mounting of this component after delivery, it will be encased in tape and reel packaging during shipment. Its repetitive peak forward blocking voltage is 600 V, while its repetitive peak reverse voltage is 600 V. This SCR thyristor has a minimum operating temperature of -40 °C and a maximum of 125 °C.
