The is an efficient Linear Voltage Regulator with ultra-low-noise output, very low dropout voltage and very low ground current. The MIC5207 offers better than 3% initial accuracy. Designed especially for hand-held, battery-powered devices, the MIC5207 includes a CMOS or TTL compatible enable/shutdown control input. When in shutdown, power consumption drops nearly to zero. Key MIC5207 features include a reference bypass pin to improve its already low-noise performance, reversed-battery protection and current limiting and overtemperature shutdown.
