The is an ultra low power, open drain, quad low voltage comparator in 16 pin NSOIC package. This single/dual supply micropower device is ideal for 3V or 5V single supply applications. The input voltage ranges from negative supply rail to within 1.3V of positive supply. The open drain outputs permit wire ORed configurations. The output voltage range of 11V makes the device ideal for level translators and bipolar to single ended converter. The output voltage range of 11V and separate GND pin for the output transistor makes the device ideal for level translators and bipolar to single ended converter. The MAX974 is used in battery powered systems, threshold detectors, window comparators and oscillator circuits.
