The is a 8-bit Application-specific Microcontroller based on enhanced HCS08 CPU 24MHz bus with CISC architecture operates at a maximum frequency of 48MHz. The device incorporates 60kB internal flash, 4kB internal RAM, an analog comparator, 12-channel 12-bit A/D converter and 51 general-purpose I/O pins. This device also features peripherals like USB 2.0 full-speed 12Mbps device controller, one inter-integrated circuit IIC bus module to operate at up to 100kbps, two serial peripheral interface modules SPI, two serial communications interface SCI modules and real-time counter RTC. Breakpoint capability to allow single breakpoint setting during in-circuit debugging plus two more breakpoints in on-chip debug module. In-circuit emulator ICE debug module containing two comparators and nine trigger modes. Eight deep FIFO for storing change-of-flow addresses and event-only data. Debug module supports both tag and force breakpoints.
