The from Products is a 5V, 8ch, serial, 12bit ADC in 20 pin SSOP package. The 12bit data acquisition systems is specifically designed for use in applications with mixed +5V analogue, +3V digital supply voltages. It combines an 8ch multiplexer, high bandwidth track/hold and serial interface with high conversion speed and low power consumption. A 4-wire serial interface connects directly to SPI/ MICROWIRE devices without external logic and a serial strobe output allows direct connection to TMS320 family DSPs. It uses an internal clock to perform successive approximation A/D conversions. It also has VL pin that is power supply for digital outputs. Output logic levels 3V, 3.3V or 5V are determined by value of voltage applied to this pin. Typically applications include 5V/3V mixed-Supply systems, data acquisition, high accuracy process control, battery powered instruments and medical instruments.
