The is a 1MR 2W through-hole mounting Fixed Ceramic Resistor is ideal for circuitry associated with surges, high peak power or high energy. The OY series offers enhanced performance in high voltage power supplies, R-C snubber circuits and inrush limiters. The OY resistor can often replace carbon composition resistors which can be difficult to source. It is made up of Pb-free solder-coated axial terminals, silicone ceramic coating and it has 10% tolerance.
