The PME271Y series capacitors from Kemet are radial leaded, class Y2 metalized impregnated paper film capacitors for AC Line EMI suppression and RC networks. These capacitors are made of multilayer metalized paper encapsulated and impregnated in self extinguishing material meeting the requirements of UL94 V-0 standard. The impregnated paper ensures excellent stability and reliability properties, particularly in applications with continuous operation. Typical applications include worldwide use as electromagnetic interference suppressor in all Y2 applications, line to earth.
