The P Series power entry module offers full flexibility of design in the most compact package. The Chameleon has two filter options seventh character in part number. The S models offer protection for general-purpose applications where line-to-ground and line-to-line noise must be controlled and are designed to meet low leakage requirements of VDE portable equipment. The H models offer susceptibility protection without leakage current associated with the line-to-ground capacitors and are designed to allow equipment to meet UL544 for patient care and non-patient care equipment. These power entry modules provides a dual voltage selector which is integrated with the fuse holder. P Series product with an “S” in the fifth digit are specifically designed for jumper type applications associated with switching mode power supplies. P Series product with an “X” in the fifth digit are designed for dual primary transformer applications. The fuse holder can hold one or two 1⁄4" × 11⁄4" or 5 × 20 mm fuses. Maximum leakage current, each line-to-ground at 120 VAC/60 Hz in H models is 2 μA, and in S models is 0.25 mA. For 250 VAC/60 Hz the H models maximum is 5 μA and the S models maximum is 0.50 mA. Terminals are 0.187" × 0.032" faston tabs. For those models with a switch, the switch is double insulated and rated for 10,000 operations at full load with a 51 amp in-rush capability. A conversion clip is provided for single fuse operation. Extenders are available to fit existing panel cutouts as special order items.
