The is a 50m 3-core SY Screened Cable with bare copper conductor and a fine wire strand in accordance to IEC 60 228 that is VDE 0295 class-5 and a transparent PVC compound TM2 in accordance to VDE 0207 outer sheath. This SY cable is number coded control and connecting cables for flexible use and fixed installation for medium mechanical use. This is for use in dry, damp and wet rooms. It may only be installed outdoors with UV-protection and in observation of the temperature range. At room temperature it is generally resistant against acids, caustics solutions and certain oils. SY cable is used as supply and interconnecting cable for controlling machine tools, production lines, control equipment on conveyors, also for use in measuring regulating and computer units. It is suitable for free movement without forced guidance and tensile stress. The braiding of galvanized steel wire is an additional mechanical protection.
