The series includes SuperH controller with flash as well as the SuperH controller ROMless devices. The Super H controller Flash is suitable for high speed functions and the ROMless controller is designed more for general purpose. The SH2A Flash MCU features integrated MONOS Flash and the ROMless microcontroller has no MMU therefore is suitable for running RTOS and Linux.
