These rheostats are designed and manufactured to operate smoothly and reliably over long periods of use. Used for motor speed controls, light dimmers and for equipment requiring convenient variable resistance settings. Windings are linear taper on stock models. Tapered windings available as custom order. Ceramic body, high-grade resistance alloy windings, vitreous enamel coating some models silicone-ceramic, metal spring contact arm, metal graphite composition and solder coated terminals.
