The SMC series capacitors from Kemet are polyphenylene sulphide PPS film chip capacitors. These capacitors are encapsulation in self extinguishing material meeting the requirements of UL94 V-0 and meets standards according to IEC 60384-20 standard. Typical applications include timing, filtering and use as a memory capacitor. The SMC series is designed for high stability, accuracy and temperature. It is not suitable for across the line application.
