The is a 256Mb Flash-NOR Non-volatile Memory with SPI interface. The hybrid sector size option - physical set of thirty two 4k-byte sectors at top or bottom of address space with all remaining sectors of 64k-bytes, for compatibility with prior generation S25FL devices and uniform sector option - always erase 256k-byte blocks for software compatibility with higher density and future devices. The FL serial flash memory offers a reduced pin count for lower system cost while providing optimal read/write performance.
