The is an evaluation module for TPS5450, a high output current PWM converter that integrates a low resistance high side N-channel MOSFET. The TPS5450 package along with the gate drive circuitry. The low drain to source on resistance of the MOSFET allows the TPS5450 to achieve high efficiencies and helps to keep the junction temperature low at high output currents. The compensation components are provided internal to the integrated circuit IC, whereas an external divider allows for an adjustable output voltage. Additionally, the TPS5450 provides an enable input. The absolute maximum input voltage for the TPS5450 is 40V.
