DESCRIPTION

The µPD78F4216A/78F4218A and 78F4216AY/78F4218AY are products of µPD784216A/784218A, 784216AY/784218AY Subseries in the 78K/IV Series. The µPD78F4216A/78F4218A have flash memory in place of the internal ROM of the µPD784216A/784218A. The incorporation of flash memory allows a program to be written or erased while mounted on the target board. The µPD78F4216AY/78F4218AY are based on the µPD78F4216A/78F4218A Subseries with the addition of a multimaster-supporting I2C bus interface.
