The is a fixed output, highly accurate and high speed low dropout LDO regulator in 5 pin SOT-25 package. It consists of voltage reference, error amplifier, driver transistor, current limiter, thermal protection circuit, reverse current protection circuit and phase compensation circuit. The CE pin ON/OFF control function enables the entire circuit to be placed in standby state by inputting low level signal to CE pin. Overcurrent protection and thermal protection circuits are integrated. The protection circuit starts to operate when either output current reaches the current limit level or junction temperature reaches the temperature limit.
