To enhance current offering of IP67 D-Subs and hoods, the new design offers a cost effective solutions for applications where complete sealing of the interface is not necessary. This solution provides sealing when the cable connector is mated with the panel mount connector. This allows for the use of conventional D-Subs as no water can penetrate the panel seal. The new version does not replace the existing option, but instead offers an alternative solution.
