*SMFLP Series Flexible Light Pipes** are comprised of two items; an adapter and a 1 mm or 2 mm diameter optical fiber with lens cap assembly. The adapter is mounted directly to the PCB and the lens cap is connected to the panel. This two-piece press-fit installation allows for convenient hot-swap removal, removes the current in hazardous environments, and provides ESD protection for sensitive components. Flexible light pipes move light greater distances.
