**Hammond 1418 Series Mild Steel Enclosure**

The 1418 series junction boxes have a body and door formed from 14 gage steel. They have been designed to house electrical, electronic, hydraulic or pneumatic controls and instruments. They are IP54 rated and thus provide a degree of protection against falling dirt, dust, oil and water. The outside of the cover and enclosure is finished in a re-coat-able smooth ANSI 61 gray powder coating with a white powder coating on the inside. The removable inner panel has also been finished in white powder coating.
