**Hammond SS Series Stainless Steel Enclosure**

The SS series enclosures have been manufactured with formed 14 gage 304 or 316 stainless steel. They are able to provide IP66 protection in harsh environments and are suitable for applications where near-by equipment may need to be hosed down or otherwise be very wet or areas subject to corrosion. They are finished with a natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed look. They have been designed for use as instrument enclosures, electric, hydraulic or pneumatic control housings, electrical junction boxes or terminal wiring enclosures.
