har-flex® is a general-purpose PCB connector series based on a 1.27 mm grid with SMT termination technology.

With its straight, angled and cable variants, har-flex® provides connectivity solutions for many different board-to-board and cable-to-board applications. The different stacking heights of the mezzanine connectors and the flexible IDC connector cable lengths offer a high degree of freedom to the system design.

A broad choice of configurations between 6 and 100 contacts in even numbered positions is available.

HARTING har-flex® Connectors provide 100 percent coplanarity testing and standard fitting with pick and place pads that guarantee a simple, fully automatic and assembly of the PCBs.

har-flex® covers mezzanine applications with a range of straight versions for four different stacking heights that can be used to interconnect PCBs arranged in parallel stacks with spacing between 8.0 mm and 13.8 mm. Additional stacking heights are under consideration. Using a straight connector mating with an angled version, a right-angled motherboard-to-daughtercard application is realized. The straight male connectors can be mated with the cable connectors for flatband cables.
