The is a 1EDI EiceDRIVER compact single channel IGBT gate driver IC in 8 pin DSO package. This galvanically isolated single channel IGBT driver provides minimum peak output currents up to 3A and an integrated active miller clamp circuit with same current rating to protect against parasitic turn on. The input logic pins operates on a wide input voltage range from 3V to 15V using CMOS threshold levels to support even 3.3V microcontroller. Data transfer across the isolation barrier is realized by the coreless transformer technology. The Output with clamp variant for IGBT is a general purpose IGBT gate driver. Basic control and protection features support fast and easy design of highly reliable systems. It is used in high voltage DC/DC-converter and DC/AC-inverter, induction heating resonant application, UPS-systems, welding and solar.
