Just like the 2200 Series keyboards, the trackball assembly can withstand harsh use and abuse in wet and dirty environments. These keyboards have been deployed in food processing and medical facilities where they are subjected to routine washdown. In the metalworking and energy industries they are subjected to extreme temperatures, dirt and vibration. Additionally, their resistance to impact and vandalism allows these keyboards to be confidently deployed in unsupervised public locations.
