The rail-mountable converter for PROFIBUS is specially designed to meet the industrial requirements of the control cabinet. It converts the electrical signals of the PROFIBUS interface into optical signals bi-directionally. All PROFIBUS systems with transmission speeds between 9.6 Kb/s and 1.5 Mb/s are supported. The device makes it possible to set up an interference-proof fiber-optic networking in line, star, tree or redundant ring structure.
