The is a Chargebuster® overhead steady state DC Ionizer designed to cover 2 foot by 4 foot for use in ESD sensitive work areas such as calibration, test, final assembly or repair procedures. The specially designed 3-speed fan modules create better coverage, consistent offset voltage ±10V and superior discharge times <3 seconds tested per ANSI/ESD STM 3.1. The Chargebuster® overhead ionizer is equipped with an auto-feedback system, that continually optimizes the performance and will automatically shut down and alarm if or when supply voltage drops to the ionizer. The ionizer can be used with 110 or 220V power sources. Ionizer should be considered as a method for charge neutralization in cases where grounding cannot be achieved. Air ionization can neutralise the static charge on insulated and isolated objects by producing separate charges in the molecules of the gases of the surrounding air.
