The is a DIN-340 type-N Twist Drill made of rolled high speed steel HSS with bright surface. It is highly efficient standard drill in long version. It is suitable for deep-hole drillings in all normal materials and for deep-hole drillings small forward feeds and frequent chip removal is necessary. It is also suitable for applications of steel and cast-steel alloyed and unalloyed up to approximately 900N/mm² strength, grey cast, malleable cast iron, die-cast metal, iron sinter, nickel-silver, graphite cast iron, short-chipping aluminium alloys, bronze and brass.
