The is an evaluation kit is composed of CPU module SOM-PH8700 and base board BB-EPH1800. This single board computer designed is based on TI AM335X ARM Cortex-A8 core processor. The BB-EPH1800 is an independent base plate. The SOM-PH8800 is the CPU module of PH180-EVK evaluation kit. It integrated TI"s AM4378 processor and peripheral memory and can be connected to an expansion board through PH180 interface. The EVK8800 provides plenty of peripheral resources with four high speed USB2.0 hosts, one high speed OTG interface, one large capacity of the TF card slot for extension storage, 12bit camera interface, expanded VGA and HDMI interface, two gigabit network interfaces, 24bit LCD, Wi-Fi, MIC input, AUDIO output, UART, CAN and RS485 interfaces. In order to facilitate more expansions and functions, the UART, I2C, SPI resources respectively lead to two 5 pin ribbon cable socket.
