POWERSTAT® Variable Transformers with patented POWERKOTE® Coils provide a simple rugged method of controlling electrical voltage current and power. They take in utility line voltage and provide continuously adjustable output voltage. Most frame sizes are available with a boost option to allow operation up to 17% above input nominal. Open construction models have letter U suffix in the type number and have the shaft extending from the end of the assembly for panel mounting. Other models, including motorized also are available.
