578/574 Series, Precision and Commercial Potentiometer

This low-mount commercial potentiometer features conductive plastic elements, quiet electrical output, smooth feel, robust construction and has 50,000 turns rotational life. The units have linear taper, ±20% tolerance, 270° nominal effective electrical rotation and 300° nominal effective mechanical rotation and are not sealed for washing. The housing, bushing and shaft are made from black molded thermoplastic. The flatted shaft is 3/4" long. The wiper is a contact spring. Stocked units unitize three in-line solder pc-pins. The locating pin is at 9 o"clock.
