AMP® FLEXI-BLOCK™ terminal block assemblies can be custom-made in seconds. Any number of blocks, assembled on tape can be pulled from a convenient, stackable dispenser carton. Cutting the desired number of blocks and the required length of track can be accomplished with a handy cutting tool or a hacksaw. The track, GE NORYL EN 265, conforms to curved surfaces. Both the track and the blocks are self-extinguishing. To complete a proper assembly, after selecting the size blocks with appropriate electrical capacity, track is cut to the length of the required number of terminal blocks, plus two extra spaces to accommodate end stops. After the strip of terminal blocks is slid onto the track, insertion of an end stop in each end completes the assembly. Predrilled holes in the track allow quick mounting on flat or curved surfaces. In addition to direct application of wire ends under screw heads, plates with FASTON tabs or jumper tabs can be installed on size #6 and #8 FLEXI-BLOCK™ assemblies.
