Rugged lightweight, diecast aluminium alloy, electronic instrument enclosure. Aluminium alloy to BS1490, LM2M. Two piece "lap joint" construction provides protection against dust accumulation and splashing water. High EMC screening. Lid is close fitting and is retained by 4 - M3.5 x 12 taptite screws into countersunk lid holes. Screws accept POZIDRIV No 2 screwdriver. Enclosure is supplied with unpainted vibra smooth surface. Will accept most finishes with minimum preparation. Designed to meet IP54, all dimensions are external and include lid.
