** AC Synchronous Motors**
These motors provide a constant rotation speed independent of the load, but linked to the supply frequency. They are also used where rotation requires relatively low torque at a reasonable cost. AC synchronous motors are either single direction CW or CCW or reversible CW and CCW.
** Design Considerations**
* For Single Direction Motors, Determine What Direction the Motor Shaft Needs to Turn
* The Motor Used Must Take into Consideration Starting/Running Torque and Stall Torque
* Gearbox Selection is Dependent on the Desired Output Speed, Load Type, Maximum Required Torque and the Duty Cycle
