The from Deutsch is 983 series, MIL-DTL-83723 series III equivalent straight plug with 4 contacts. These high reliability 983 series connectors are designed for harsh environment areas, engines and boosters. 983 series are in accordance with the standards EN 2997, MIL-DTL-83723 series III, NF-L 54143, SAE/AS 39029, EN 3155 and ESC30 for electrical contacts. As per specifications SBAC ESC10 and Boeing BACC63, 983 series electrical connector are intermatable and interchangeable with MIL-DTL-83723 series III, NF-L 54143 and Deutsch 83730 series connectors. The 983 series connectors have anti-rotation, reduced elastomer barriers for use with newer and older generation wires. These connectors are designed to withstand extreme shock, exposure and vibration.
