Demonstration Board, 16Bit, 15SPS, I2C, cDelta Sigma, Analog to Digital Converter
is an QuikEval demonstration board designed for evaluation of LTC2487 ADC. It is a 16bit, 2 differential or 4 single ended channel, delta sigma ADC with PGA, easy drive and I2C interface. The sampling scheme eliminates dynamic input current errors and shortcomings of on chip buffering through automatic cancellation of differential input current. This allows large external source impedances and rail to rail input signals to be directly digitized while maintaining exceptional DC accuracy. ADC includes a programmable gain, temperature sensor and an integrated oscillator. This device can be configured to measure an external signal or its internal temperature sensor. DC1010A may be connected directly to target application’s analog signals while using DC590 USB serial controller board and QuikEval System software to measure performance. After evaluating with software, digital signals can be connected to application’s processor/controller for development of serial interface.
