The evaluation module allows complete performance and operational analysis of the DAC8814 device. The DAC8814 is a quad, 16bit, serial input, current output DAC operating from a single 5V power supply. This converter provides excellent linearity ±1 LSB INL, low glitch, low noise, and fast settling 0.3ms typ. to ±0.1% of full scale output over the specified temperature range of -40 degree to 85 degree. Four external buffer and DPDT switches are provided on the evaluation module to allow unipolar and bipolar output operation. The modular evaluation module form factor allows for direct evaluation of the DAC performance and operating characteristics. This evaluation module is compatible with the 5-6K interface and HPA-MCU interface boards.

It is important to operate this EVM within the input voltage range of 15V to -15V and the output voltage range of 10V to -10V. Exceeding the specified input range may cause damage to the EVM.
