The is a 10-way 2-row 0.100 x 0.100-inch Wire-to-board IDC Socket for 0.050-inch pitch ribbon cable with gold-plated phosphor bronze contacts. This D89 series socket comes with glass filled polyester insulation and accommodates 28/26AWG stranded wire. It has military polarization with center bump and bumps are designed to prevent premature latch locking during shipment. Double-recessed cover for cable terminating from either side virtually eliminating the need for single-recessed cover connectors.
