The is a 180A HiPerFRED™ Epitaxial Diode with soft recovery. It is used as an anti-parallel diode for high frequency switching devices, as an anti-saturation diode, as a Snubber diode, freewheeling diode in converters and motor control circuits, rectifiers in switch mode power supplies SMPS, inductive heating, uninterruptible power supplies UPS and ultrasonic cleaners and welders.
