The from Texas Instruments is a 3-phase, sensorless BLDC motor driver in 24 pin HTSSOP Package. This sensorless 180° sinusodial motor driver with integrated power MOSFETs which can provide continuous drive current up to 2A. It is specifically designed for cost sensitive, low-noise, low-external component count fan and pump applications. The device delivers current to the motor with supply voltage as low as 6.2V. If power supply voltage is higher than 28V then device stops driving the motor and protects the DRV10987 circuitry. Typical applications include air purifiers and humidifiers, dryer circulation fans, drain and water pumps, 3-phase BLDC and PMSM motors.
