The is an 1-output enclosed medical Power Supply designed to minimize the no load power consumption <0.5W and maximize efficiency in order to facilitate equipment design to the latest environmental legislation. It features over voltage, over load and short-circuit protection. There is no minimum load required. Approved for class I and class II applications, the ECS100 range of single output AC-DC, 100W power supply features high power density in an industry standard 2 x 4-inch 51 x 102mm footprint. The 1.20-inch 31mm high, 1U compatible high-density power supply meets EN55022 level B emissions with low earth leakage current. It is dual-fused for compliance with IEC60601-1 and efficiency is 88% typical, so minimal excess heat is generated. The ECS100 requires only 10CFM of cooling to delivers a full 100W of power up to +50°C and operates at up to +70°C with derating or equally supply 80W when convection cooled up to +50°C with operation to +70°C with derating.
